This is an interesting thread I found Googling Indian Stripe so I registered to ask if anyone grew out the IS Heart?

Hello, Jerry. Bill Jeffers here.
The seeds Bluelytes sent me for the "Indian Stripe Hearts" were vestigal seeds that appeared to be nothing more than what one might expect from a parthenocarpic tomato variety like Legend or Burpee Sweet Seedless tomato. Apparently, Indian Stripe is capable of setting fruit without full pollination in cool weather ... something I have not experienced in S.W. Indiana. But it may explain the elongated shape that is uncharacteristic of the Indian Stripe for which I shared the seeds with you back in 2009 (probably the same batch of seeds from which I sent the sample to Bluelytes).
Somewhere Bluelytes also noted that most of the "seeds" she took from the "heart-shaped" fruit fell right thru the strainer mesh when she was washing them. That was about the size of the "seeds" she sent me too, none of which sprouted.

Hello, Bill.
Too bad those seeds didn't sprout. That would have been an interesting tomato to grow out.
The seeds you sent in 09 produced nice productive plants with good tasting fruit. I saved seeds and have been growing great tomatoes every year since......Indian Stripe, JD's special C-Tex and Chappy X/L Red.
This year I sowed some of the original Mountain Glory seeds you sent and they all germinated and are growing robustly...so looking forward to some of those toms this year.
