New World Record Hottest Pepper. This guy was crazy enough to eat a couple and film his own reaction....

The video seems to present a comparative tasting of Naga Viper and Darth Naga. Guess the "loser" would be plenty hot for most of us, and it has an interesting name.

I grow and/or buy peppers (both hot and sweet) for culinary purposes and snacking. The 'heat' is not what sells/dissuades me...it is the flavor that I am seeking. With a pepper that hot, it would have to be a wonderful flavor to find a culinary use (unless you have a wonderfully flavored pepper that needs the wick turned up a bit...I could see adding 'a tad' to a paprika type pepper dish).
As a side note, if you have neighbors 'helping themselves' to your garden, one of those added to the garden might discourage them...put it right up front where they cannot miss it!

Might be wise to fill your toilet bowl with ice cold milk before you go to bed at night.
