Rattlesnake beans are by far the most flavorful bean I have grown yet. I also let the bigger ones dry on the vines and use them as soup beans, delicious!! Boy you are fortunate to have friends to help you!! Tweed has sent me some Greasy Grit beans, I have heard they may even be a little better than RS. That is kinda hard to imagine, but I have heard this before. I have grown lots of other types and am very impressed with the flavor of RS beans.

Rattlesnake beans are by far the most flavorful bean I have grown yet. Rattlesnake are not nearly as good as Fortex. Try em.

yep, you got it PV. Fortex were my favourite (even better than RS, IMO) until I grew bush Straight and Narrow in 2010.
Calypso/Orca/YingYang is also an Excellent bean for both fresh use as a green bean and to dry for soup.

BLRH, have you saved seeds from the Ying Yang bean? Those are crazy cool. They're bush beans, aren't they?
Are you saying that Ying Yang is same as Orca and Calypso ... just different names? I see the reason for Orca for sure. Cool lookin' bean. Glad to hear it's a winner for dinner too.

PV, did you hear something? Yes, they are one and the same, just different names. I've saved seed for about 4 years now of the Orca. Why do you ask? Need some? Lemme check...I'm Kinda low on stock though after the wabbits got the plants and the guy next door asked for seed then never saved any.

OK folks here is a bit of an update. I have a lawyer now for my disability case. They will be filling my appeal for me.Going to have to keep them updated about my condition and doctors appointments. Which leads me to another thing.I contacted the Family doctor that had seen me in the hospital back in 09. He will be seeing me next Monday. So the ball is in motion again and we shall see where all this leads.

The way it works in these cases is they do not get paid unless I when my case. All disability lawyers work this way. They get 25% or 6,000 dollars whichever is less.It is taken out of your back pay and the government has that rate set and law firms can not go over that amount.
