Hello everyone,
I found this forum via Bill Jeffers. I'm a member of Seedsavers and tried some of his tomatoes when he listed them in the yearbook. After growing them, I wanted to try more because they have become some of my favorites. Big Cheef has taken over the #1 spot in my garden, fabulous flavor, good production, disease resistance, I'm a fan. I grow about 75 + tomatoes, chiles and other veges. I have a small orchard with gage plums, heirloom apples, pawpaws, persimmons, butternuts, hickories, walnuts, antique roses, currants, gooseberries, raspberries. I'm an avid wildlife photographer, mostly hummingbirds, can't wait till they return! I'm also a print maker and teach alternative photo processes in Indianapolis. My computer skills are limited, I'm happy to be here!!!

Hi Fiogga, Welcome from scenic NE Indiana! Waiting for our 3 to 5 inches of snow tonight. It sounds like you have a wonderful garden and orchard. Al

Hey Everyone, Thanks for the warm welcome!!! Darth, Fiogga is the village in Italy where my family is from. Growing up I was weaned on hot peppers and tomatoes that looked like hot peppers. I was shocked to find out tomatoes could also be round. Hey Kevin, Parke County is a favorite place of mine. I'll be up there early spring looking for schrooms, blood root, wildflowers, and critters to photograph! GORGEOUS place anytime of the year. Thank you all so much for your gracious hospitality, if any of you are passing through Indy stop in and visit. I've got some babies peeking out of the metromix, chiles take forever!! I'm excited about Liz Birt, Gary O'Sena, Indian Stripe, Dusky Rose, and about 80 others. Thanks again, you all have a fun weekend.
