Here is something I wanted to see, lots of antho in my seedlings from this cross, I am hoping to get a small dark paste type from this cross, that has good flavor. Darth Mater is the mother and the pollen donor is Keith Muellers H-34.

G'Day Darth!
I don't know the mother plant or the pollen donor. Could you tell us more please? What are you hoping to segregate for in the grow-outs?
Forgive my curiosity, but I have cat genes so I'm always curious about things I don't know and want to know more.

The Mother {Darth Mater} is a cross from Anna Russian and Black from Tula. The H-34 is one of Keith Muellers antho lines out of P-20.

Darth,
Will you cull those 6 that do not show any anthocyanin in them?

Yes, when ever I grow anything with Antho I keep only the dark ones.

I was reading something about that how atv causes high anthocyanin in the stems and leaves; and aft in green and ripe fruit [when exposed to sunlight]. So the aft can still be present even though the atv does not manifest? I hope I worded that right.
