Didn't want to hijack the Cherokee Lime thread. Here's a photo from Suze of Captain Lucky. Attachments:

Looks identical to ananas noire. Yes, it looks similar. But then Captain Lucky is 1/2 Lucky Cross, your favorite tomato

Captain Lucky, Black Magic and First Mate are three F5/F6 lines out of the same chance outcross w/ Lucky Cross (developed by Millard Murdock). Suze had seed of all three and was kind enough to share some with me. I'll let folks know how they do this summer.

My Ananas Noire were big and were green and had patches of red, the captain lucky doesnt look that close to me..I would love all three of those to try.

It would also be nice to get Suze to post here, from what I have seen she has some great stuff and her info would add alot to the forum!

Yep. Looks are one thing, and flavor is another. I've tried Ananas Noir, and I'm looking very forward to trying Capt. Lucky this summer, hoping the Lucky Cross flavor carries over

Would be great if it did. I wasn't able to get a cross of LC and AN to take like I wanted. Will try again this season.

Another option might be to backcross Capt. Lucky to Lucky Cross, which may represent a greater step forward

I've been stumped so far in what to cross with the Captain.
