This is one I am looking forward to this season. The potential for flavor is definitely there in this one as both parents are outstanding in my garden. F1 flavor was above average compared to other hybrids I grew.

Nice! They look like they would be good canning tomatoes and fresh for salads! Let us know the details!

Nice baseball size.
Do you often select for earliness in your Connecticut climate?

Nice baseball size. Do you often select for earliness in your Connecticut climate? They matured in 75 days for me last year and were consistent size of 3-4.5oz. No, not with this one. Flavor is my number one priority. Unless of course the cross is specifically made with "earliness" in mind. Purple Haze F1 is generally pretty early. Last season it ripened it's first fruit in 55 days for me. Prue, however, is usually late. But well worth the wait.
