Our spring here has been all over the place. First wet, then hot, then cold etc, etc. I have fruit set on a number of my earlier varieties and most of the plants I am planning on making crosses with are now blooming or should be soon. Yesterday I started emasculating my first blossoms and I'm hoping that the cool(60s), wet weather of the last week or so decides to end so I am able to collect some pollen. Where are you at?

I have made the following crosses:
Wherokowhai F5 (bicolor dwarf with Lucky Cross in its parentage) x Vjerino Paradajiz Sjeme (large pink heart)
S. cheesmaniae (Santa Cruz Island (Galápagos)) x Wherokowhai F5
Marianna's Peace x Black Cherry
Marianna's Peace x Elgum's Red Cherry
I am also growing eight MarNar F2's (Marianna's Peace x Neves Azorean Red), from the cross i did last year (the F1 was grown out in New Zealand this winter). And I am growing some very promising F2's from my Micro Tom x SunGold cross, hopefully I can select a sun dwarf with better taste than Micro Tom.

None as of yet but my "hard" work is all done. Maybe I will do some very soon.
