I'm in my 50s and have been gardening for most of my life. I think that churches should teach preservation of the environment and our mutual benefit from these gifts. Right now I feel that our environment is taking a distant second to the almighty dollar. So, I guess you can say that I'm on a "mission".! Currently I'm working on getting certified as a Square Foot Gardening instructor as well as completing a Purdue course leading to "Master Gardener" designation. I grow a little bit everything, but am concentrating on great-tasting tomatoes, some odd cucumbers, carrots and other stuff that will make you and your family happy and healthy. One of the best parts of this hobby is that you make some of the best friends ever!!!
