I'll let you know tomorrow after we get the 6-12 inches they are predicting.

As Penny said, less snow this year, more sun, temperatures above seasonal for both December and January. I always get nervous for February though. This has happened before and then we got record low temps for this short hideous month. November was lovely, too, with lots of unusual warmth and very little rain.

10 February 2010. No snow to speak of in my area all Winter. I never had to shovel once. Last year the snow was excessive and never cleared the ground for months.
I t happens to be snowing now, but expect only an inch or so. I must go for my five km walk with my dog before it get much deeper. This takes slightly less than an hour.

Hardly any snow this winter. Reminds me of the winter of 2002-03 when I lost my lavender and some other perennials. Haven't fired up the snowblowers yet.

All those with less snow...we got it all! I have about 40 some odd inches out there. if you add the 29 inch storm we had in dec thats about 65 inches more than we had each year for the last seven years or so. We have winters like this about once every ten years or so. I'll be glad when this one's over! It's been colder, longer... and much wetter! Camo

so you've got all our snow camo? ! we're used to 7 plus feet of snow and we've only gotten one foot in December. since then it's been rain and fog. never seen a winter like this in the 20 plus years we've been here.

Much more snow here than I can remember since moving here 16 years ago. I blame global warming...

I am sure looking forward to two digit temps that start with a "7" I hear ya! We've had maybe a 1½-2 feet of snow this winter. About average for us. It's been cold though since the first of December. I'm ready for spring.

Way too warm here, and way too wet! fruit trees already blooming and starting to drowned...if the weather returns back to normal, any fruit I would have gotten this year, will be lost. getting a break from the rain this week, but night time temps are getting back to normal...not good! beginning to think that fruit set this year will be very small , if at all. I got my fingers crossed though.
