Am introducing my Garden. My garden is about 0.4 of an acre and about 2500 square feet in vegetables and other areas in various bush fruits. I have been on this property since 2003 and have built all from a grass covered back yard. The soil is fundamentally clay and has been modified considerably. Almost every type of vegetable is grown for pleasure, and maximum growth for each plant. I post my observations based on empirical evidence. My interests are garden, dog, photography, computers, some forums. I keep a daily Garden Journal, which consists of mostly photographs and the babble is kept to a minimum. I have a unique method of posting pictures that is the best on the internet, and on my own rented host. Here are my Journals. www.durgan.org/Blog/ 2009 Garden Journal. durgan.org/ Garden Journal 2010 Just started and some enduring posts have been retained from previous years.

Welcome! I recall seeing your garden pictures from The Garden Helper forum a year or two ago. They were amazing. Nice looking garden!

Welcome! I recall seeing your garden pictures from The Garden Helper forum a year or two ago. They were amazing. Nice looking garden! I move on, when I find a forum has no gardeners. The hardest thing to find is a gardener in North America, particularly on the forums. I suspect many real gardeners don't know how to operate a computer, so their message doesn't get out. Gardening and photography fit like a tight glove. The lack of pictures is most annoying to me. We don't even have to develop film anymore, and everybody has a digital camera. All the programmers are taught from the same book, so they utilize those "bucket" systems for displaying on the Internet, which has a lot to be desired. I disliked the method so much that my own system was developed, utilizing readily available software, and a little effort. My display system is net, simple, and quick.
