Mawk, I heard the same thing from a friend here last week. None of her winter squash produced fruit. Neither did mine. But she said her Zucchinis were still going strong. Good Summer Squash weather this year I guess. I haven't grown any for a few years. Suppose I should have just in case. Oh Well... Here's something Darth might keep in mind to do with large zucchini. ca.news.yahoo.com/s/capress/100923/koddities/mt_odd_bear_attack_zucchini_1

So this past Sat I picked 3 little zukes from my garden! Hard to believe. Everytime I go to pull them out they look like they're doing ok, then next thing I know I get a few. Very weird to have any plants in the ground right now let alone for me to get zukes this late...

I have some Greek Sweet Red Butternut Squash that I would be happy to share... It is the only C. Moschata that I grow and it is my favorite. This year I will save plenty of seeds for you all:) Blane has some of these seeds from me to grow this year. I will have to post some pics... And some recipes! (in the other thread for that stuff)
