How many hours of sun you figure those plants get?

Do you live in Canada, RinTinTin?

Not Canada, not Corp. Just a US citizen who owns a wee percentage of everything that sits on Govt land. If it is not in private hands, it is ours.

There is hope for my garden then...This means I don't have to cut down Government owned trees ;D BlueLaceRedHead lives "on the north shore of Lake Erie" which I assume is in Canada. I don't know what ownership Canada or her province claims over trees on public land. However, I do know you may think you own the trees on public land in the U.S., but just try cutting them without a permit.

Mulio, are you saving any seeds from those wild tomatoes?
And what colors are you seeing?

I was kidding with the comment about 'our' trees. Each of us do own a wee % of them, but not enough to think we could cut them down without repercussions. A local judge got busted a couple of years ago for hiring someone to cut down a row of trees on state property that were obstructing his view of the lake. He has since 'retired'.
And yes. The north shore of L Erie is Canada. Jeez, King George III probably still owns those trees.

There is hope for my garden then...This means I don't have to cut down Government owned trees ;D My yard back onto a Provincially Significant Wetlands with severe fines for cutting trees that are there for the wellbeing of wildlife such as Migratory Birds, Wild Turkeys which have been brought back from the brink of extinction since the 1990's and some very cute little Toad! Messing with the wetlands can involve Municipal as well as Ministries of Natural Resources, Agriculture and Food (fish habitats) all the way up to Environment Canada. I don't know about George III but I do know that Prince Charles has brought about significant change for the Environment in England. Not sure about my backyard though. Anyway, that's why I'm interested in Mulio's work in the woods with Tomatoes. Perhaps if I give those gall-durned Tree Rats Tomato plants of their own, they will leave the ones in my garden to Me!

That or they will just eat, breed, and you will have even more rats eating your tomatoes.

red tomatoes I dont save seed. I just let them reseed themselves. What makes it makes it. If someone wants some to try i could go out and collect some. WHAT? Mule is offering seed? (wonder if that excludes jt!

Yeah, don't want to feed pests any health foods, that's for sure! pv Notice mule said he hasn't tasted any? He's waiting until a few human "lab rats" test them in case they're crossed with deadly nightshade.
