Bluelaced red is a colour of plumage found in some breeds of poultry. I used to breed and show Bluelaced Red Wyandotte chickens.
On another level, My hair is red (well some of it still) and the blue part is in reference to the blue rinse that old ladies used on their hair years ago to hide the gray?? Like blue is better than silver? DUH
That's it...my first nick on the net had to do with being an egghead...This has so much more mystery and class to it, at least I think so. Besides, it's versatile. I can post using this nick on gardening sites, poultry sites, equine sites or wherever..

My friends gave me mine,I guess it has something to do with how I dress and my charming personality, The girls at the boobie bar always called me the Dark Prince, there boyfriends called me alot of colorful metafores. When Darth made his apperance in starwars, that was it the band guys hung me with it, and even my mom calls me Darth....and other things hehehe

My handle is a tip of the hat to Native American heritage, plus I rescue abandoned pets. There are currently eight dogs in the pack, plus two cats.

Papa Vic Weileman was a personal folk hero of mine who lived alone in the family's run down, antibellum plantation home place on Deer Creek in Stoneville, Mississippi, when I was a kid.
He was an old, shell shocked WWI veteran whose family had basically thrown him out of the new Big House when he came back after a long spell of carousing with the Cajuns and Creoles down in Louisiana. We were told not to go visit Papa Vic because he was socially ostracized for that and various other reasons that I repeated later in life, and for which became labeled "hippie," and other such monikers.
Papa Vic's place was wood heated, with water supplied via a hand pump that came up through the kitchen sink, no electricity, but he could whip up some hellacious Creole gumbo, which he called "hobo stew." When we came over to visit, he played various Dixieland and Zydeco tunes on an old flat top guitar, and then turned around and faced the wall, put the guitar behind his back facing us, and would then play the tunes note for note backwards while singing the songs word for word backwards, too.
There's many more stories too long and too weird to tell ...

I am a landscape architect and using landscapearchitect for a forum handle seemed to long to use. So Landarc is was, this was years ago, when there was no such thing as the GUI based forums we have now, and it was also the name I used for email, back when I also could get the email bob@microsoft.com and bob@pacbell.com, which is no longer possible.

I accidentally hit the 8 button after typing my name I hit the enter button before I realized that the 8 had been pushed. I started with this in Idig and decided I am stuck with it as folks now know me by it.

Think it would be funny/kewl to tell everyone how you came up with your user name? Notice Rich hasn't shared the roots of his name with us?
