I do not really plant "early" varieties. Kimberly is excellent and consistently early but is rather small in size. I have had it come in at 50 dtm or less. Production is very good too. I've never grown Stupice for the sole reason that Kimberly was more than sufficient. Sungold is always early as are many cherries.

What is that thing in those last two pictures with the family name on it?

Maybe your question is just a bit vague. Are you looking for answers as to whether or not gf can be expressed in different variations or levels? My understanding is that there are different alleles present with the gene for green flesh which may or may not explain why you are seeing the variation that you are. That is beyond my level of understanding.

Each season I get more and more F2 seed that I want to grow more of than the seed I've saved from prior years. I either need more space, more patience or both and I definitely need helpers. For example, out of the 15 crosses I made in 2009 there is only one or two that are still somewhat exciting to me. The F2s from those two which were grown last year really didn't yield anything worth taking to the F3 generation this coming season. Those of you who have done breeding for a while, I'm sure this has happened to you. No? I'm sure this happens especially to people new to this like myself.

If someone wants to look at a bunch of cherries I should still have ample F2 seed I believe. <<raises hand>> Granite countertops in the lab???

Green Giant is the best of the GWRs I've tried.

There are thousands of varieties of tomatoes and many people here that would be more than willing to share theirs with you. Windy, dry conditions are things many people here in the states deal with each and every season.

You would not be able to receive seeds from the US by mail? Are there restrictions?

Incorporating organic material like leaves is ALWAYS a good thing. Fall is a good time so it is well rotted by spring planting.
